PUL is hosted by Afghan-American Mariam Atash Nawabi. Ms. Nawabi is General Counsel and Strategic & Business Development Director for AMDi Inc. and a Founding Member of the Afghanistan Advocacy Group. "I am honored to be hosting this innovative new program," said Ms. Nawabi. "As an Afghan-American who has worked on issues related to Afghanistan for many years, I believe media can play an important role in building knowledge and understanding between the Afghan and American people.

The mission:

AAM's mission is to harness the power of media to inform and education audiences in the Muslim world and the US. AAM television programming broadcasts in primetime on leading channels in Pakistan, Turkey, Indonesia and Afghanistan. AAM programs connect experts, officials, and students from America and these countries for serious discussion on the key international issues of our time.
