William H. Draper

William H. Draper III is the Managing Director of Draper Richards, LP, and Co-Founder, Director, and Trustee of the Draper Richards Foundation. From 1981 to 1986, he served as President and Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the US. Draper became head of the United Nations Development Program in 1986. He founded Sutter Hill Ventures, a leading venture capital firm, in 1964. 

Draper serves on the board of the Stanford Institute of International Studies and of Population International. He is Chairman of the World Affairs Council of Northern California and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Yale President’s Council on International Activities. Draper received his B.A. in Art from Yale University and his M.B.A with distinction from Harvard Business School.
