Thomas F. McLarty III

Thomas F. “Mack” McLarty III is Chairman and President of McLarty Associates, formerly Kissinger McLarty Associates. McLarty is also the Chief Executive Officer of McLarty Companies. From 1993-1994 McLarty was the White House Chief of Staff. He followed that position by serving as a counselor to President Clinton, a member on the National Economic Council, and a Special Envoy for the Americas. As Special Envoy, McLarty was actively involved in the creation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

After leaving the White House in 1998, McLarty joined the transportation company his grandfather founded, McLarty Leasing Systems, which later became McLarty Companies. A native of Arkansas, McLarty served on the state legislature and as Chairman of the state Democratic Party. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1969.
