Emily received her B.A. in history and literature with honors from Harvard College. Prior to joing AAM, she worked as the Communications Coordinator for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard. She managed public relations for humanities professors and was a contributing writer for the Harvard University Gazette. Emily published numerous articles on a range of topics, from South Asian music to indigenous radio in the Americas. She also has fundraising experience, primarily in her capacity as a volunteer for the Team Challenge Program of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.

As an undergraduate, Emily spent a semester abroad in Nantes, France. She held internships with IES Abroad in Chicago and Birr Castle Demesne in Ireland. An avid traveler, she also wrote for the Let’s Go! France: 2005 guide book. She is interested in European affairs and public diplomacy.
