Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski is Counselor and Trustee at The Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Robert E. Osgood Professor of American Foreign Policy at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and President of Z.B. Inc. He was a member of the President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board from 1987-1989, and co-chaired the Bush National Security Advisory Task Force in 1988. He served as a member of the President’s Chemical Warfare Commission in 1985. Brzezinski was National Security Advisor to the Carter Administration and also held advisory roles during the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations. Brzezinski began his teaching career as a professor at Harvard University in 1953. From 1960 through 1989, he was a professor at Columbia University. Brzezinski is on the Board of the International Crisis Group, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Parternship for a Secure America, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Brezinski graduated with a B.A. and M.A. from McGill University, and received his Ph.D in government from Harvard University.
