Marc Grossman

Ambassador Marc Grossman is Vice Chairman of The Cohen Group. His retirement as Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs in 2005 marked 25 years of service in the public sector. Grossman served as the Director General of the Foreign Service and Director of Human Resources from 2000-2001. He was Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs from 1997-2000. Grossman served as the US Ambassador to Turkey from 1994-1997, following a position as Special Assistant to Secretary of State and Executive Secretary of the Department of State. Grossman is a member of the Board of DynCorp and a member of the Army and Navy Club. He is Vice-Chairman of the American Academy of Diplomacy. Grossman received his B.A. from the University of Santa Barbara, California, and his Msc in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
