Lee Hamilton
Lee Hamilton has served as Director of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington D.C. since 1999. He joined the Wilson Center after representing Indiana in the House of Representatives from 1965 to 1999. While in the House of Representatives, he served on the Committee on International Relations, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the October Surprise Task Force, the House Standards of Official Conduct Committee, the Select Committee to Investigate Covert Arms Transactions with Iran, the Joint Economic Committee, and the Joint Committee on the Organization of Congress. Congressman Hamilton received his BA from DePauw University, studied at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, and received his JD from Indiana University School of Law in 1956.
